The contest begins! Tell me why you are thankful!

Wow! Yesterday was a wonderful day.. I got to see 2 of my favorite little newborn clients who are growing like weeds! These kids mesmerize me!
Lexi & Lola are pictured above and I can't help but smile when I look at their portrait!
We had so much fun last night.. Mark & Sheri are phenomenal parents & Mark, I am sorry you had to see Sheri & I making fools of ourselves trying to get Lola to look our way & sorry I had to put you to work!

Hannah is pictured below and was sooo tiny when she first came in. Now she is ALL GIRL- jumping, skipping, singing, dancing, & as charming as ever. She is only 2 and told me that a Kangaroo is a Marsupial! (I didn't even know that)
Daniel & Summer won the last contest and I had them take a shot so you could see their new stockings...

I have had MANY request to see more of this session. So, with special permission from her mom, here is some more of little Selah! I know.. she is gorgeous - and super sweet!
Let me know if you want the password to their gallery.. and you can see the rest.

I am editing as fast as I can.. but I don't think it is fast enough- I can't seem to get caught up, but don't worry your proofs will all be up on time. I am sure that I have got the cutest little clients ever! I love them all!

Due to demand... and some of my clients not being happy that they can't get in this year..I am opening up one more week for sessions.
These are the only days that I will open so please call or email to schedule your
appointment asap. The dates that are now open are

DEC. 3 thru DEC. 7

I have far too many things to be thankful for to pick just one, but if I must, : )... As I get older, I am more and more thankful for the family God has blessed me with. They are my strength and a constant source of truth & love!

&, Libby, I'm thankful for you! Crossing my fingers for that slow cooker! - Whitney

I am so thankful for such a great family and great friends! The older you get you realize how important they both are to have. I am especially thankful that my son comes home from college in only a week for Thanksgiving. I am very blessed!

As I sit here trying to think of how to most cleverly put what I'm thankful for, I'm listening to my husband and my son in the basement working to seal the doors with plastic to help keep the heat in this drafty old house. We are a military family and with every move we make I have the fear of not being able to "make it" in our new community. I fear not making new friends to share the burdens of everyday life with, not finding a church family to fellowship with, not finding a house big enough to accomodate my large family and our budget. I'm tempted to give in to fear every time, but every time, God goes before us and prepares the way in such obvious ways that I am left amazed. So, I'm thankful for this big drafty old house that is plenty big enough for us. The one I thought we'd never possibly afford. I'm thankful for our church family, and for the dear friends I've met here, but most of all, I'm thankful for a God that cares about all of those things too and who makes sure that we are taken care of!
We've got another move coming up in 14 weeks. I'm usually wallowing in worry and fear at this point, but just stopping to review God's track record in my life reignites my faith and trust that even though we are moving 3,000 miles away from what we know, He's already there preparing the way for us!! I can't wait to see what He's got planned for us this time!

Even though it's been a stressful year with dh being sick and all of the moaning and groaning, I'm so thankful that I still have him in my life. And I'm thankful for the 2 wonderful children that we have together. I don't know what I'd do without them!
